Your thoughts on Donny Park so far?

Im very happy with Scott Reading in 4th ! I'm sure Bradders will pick the pace up, as will JT52.

  1. Hi wiggysan

Just got back from work and checked out the results so far. Going pretty much as I expected. A few surprises. Casey doing faster laps on race tyres than last years pole. He looks like he's back on top form again. Judging by that form, he's gonna be hard to beat.

Ben making steady progress. May only be 17th, but he's knocked a second off his time from FP 1 to FP 2.

I'm not surprised that Nicky is beating Dani at the moment. The power delivery of the air valve motor seems to suit him better, plus Dani had a bit of a hard fall on his injured back. I still think Dani will beat him in the race. The extra oomph of the new engine won't make much difference at Donny.

JT.............? He's certainly capable of a podium. As I think I've said before, your home race is worth a couple of tenths a lap to anyone.

Can't wait to get there. I just hope the weather holds out. If it rains anything could happen.

  2. hey wiggysan :-)

whooo, seems that the new engine is working well.

There seem to be many explanation versions for that surprising score :

1)the new machine is much more emproved

2)Dani hasn't fully recovered from the injury he got in Barcelona

3)Or it is just sth that shouldn't be paide so much attention (yet!).For example Casey finished first in one of the practices in China but he didn't win the race or even get in first 3 finished and there are many suchlike examples(an outsider gets a surprisingly good finish in practice sessions

    I bet it's gonna be an amazing race.I suppose you'll be there-lucky you :-)))

  3. Hi Wiggysan. I agree with Neilggti's version of events. Ben doing a 1:30 impresses me. But Scott getting 4th on a track hes never been on is even more impressive. he isn't going so good this morning but there is still time. Stoner going so quick already is just what is needed for the championship title. and if it gets wet. his bridgestones will just keep him there. I still think if it is a wet race Dovi will be to watch as well as the Suzuki's. I just Hope 52 keeps a cool head and does not get over excited in front of the home boys.
