Nicky Hayden of Ducati says Aragon is a fun circuit – MotoGP news
Nicky Hayden of Ducati anticipates enjoying the upcoming Aragon Grand Prix. He also wants to test how much his hand has improved after the Italian Grand Prix. His team will be making some adjustments to the set-up of the bike prior to the race.
The Ducati rider told that he likes the up and downs in the layout of the Aragon circuit. The blind spots on the circuit make it technical and the good places make the circuit even more enjoyable.
Hayden said, “For me, Aragón is a fun circuit. I like tracks that have a bit of elevation change, and Aragón definitely has some ups and downs. There are also some blind parts that make it technical but also enjoyable, as well as some good places to pass.”
Furthermore, he said that he wants to test his hand although he feels better. He faced an accident during the qualifying round of Indianapolis Grand Prix. Although he managed to start the Italian Grand Prix with a swollen hand but still he wants to further
feel the improvement in his hand over the Spanish circuit.
“I’m looking forward to seeing how much better my hand will be than it was at Misano, and also to having the new chassis. I definitely had a little bit better feeling with it at the test, so it will be nice to go there and start with it,” he added.
The Ducati team introduced a new chassis at the Italian GP. The American rider is enthusiastic to test the new chassis because Valentino Rossi, his teammate, has been able to achieve improved performance over his home circuit. It has been an old complain
related to the Ducati that the old chassis was not adjustable as it was desired by the rider.
