Nicky Henderson terms Sanctuaire as ‘extremely good horse’
Ahead of the high-profile contest of the Sportingbet Tingle Creek Chase, that will make the scene at Sandown on December 8, the legendary trainer, Nicky Henderson, has outpoured great applause for Sanctuaire, terming him as an extremely good horse who can
pose a big challenge to his own pupil Sprinter Sacre.
These two big guns of the horseracing world are on the Sandown card, and there is expected a neck-to-neck battle between the two. Henderson has also predicted the race to be interesting enough.
While speaking to the media, the star coach told, “There is no denying that the Tingle Creek will be a whole new ball game for Sprinter Sacre.
“Not only will he be faced with a natural pace maker in Sanctuaire, but also an extremely good horse.

Interesting to note is the fact that both the strong horses are unbeaten over fences and both have impressive track records.
Sanctuaire, trained by Paul Nicholls, marvellously won each of his last three starts. On January 31, he finished first in the Charlie Company 40 Commando Royal Marines Novices' Chase at Taunton.
The veteran French gelding moved on to seal top spot in the Paddypower.com Extra Places At Cheltenham Novices' Chase of March 10. That race took place at Sandown.
He completed his hat-trick by beating the 11-4 favourite, Somersby, in the Bet365.Com Celebration Chase Grade 2 of April 28.
As a whole, the Jared Sullivan owned bay and brown gelding has 6 triumphs off 16 starts.
On the other hand, Sprinter Sacre has been on the podium all the time since February. His profile shows 9 victories, one runner-up rank and one third position.
The son of Network out of Fatima III registered a 7-length clear-cut victory in the Racing Post Arkle Challenge Trophy Chase Grade 1 of March 13. That race went down at Cheltenham.
The horseracing fans are eagerly waiting for the heated action of December 8. The race will draw a big bankroll along with numerous spectators from all parts of the world.
