Nico Hulkenberg feeling confident for 2012 Spanish Grand Prix – Formula 1 news
Force India driver Nico Hulkenberg is feeling confident that the team will score more points in 2012 Spanish Grand Prix which is going to be held at Circuit de Catalunya in Barcelona on May 13.
The German driver has only been able to score 2 points in the season so far. In the season opener held at Albert Park in Melbourne, Australia, he qualified for 9thplace in the grid but unfortunately he was retired during the race.
Subsequently, in the second race at Sepang International Circuit in Malaysia, he came 9th after starting the race from 16th position in the grid. Later, in the third race at Shanghai International Circuit in China, he qualified for the same grid position
however, he finished at 15th place.
Furthermore, in the fourth race at Bahrain International Circuit in Sakhir, there was not any big difference in his performance as he finished the race at 12thposition while starting from the 13th place in the grid.
Nevertheless, he said that he is very comfortable with the team while he said that he is enjoying the races in the season so far.
He added that he is not looking back and just focusing on the races ahead. Meanwhile, he said that he is quite determined to perform well in the approaching season.
Besides, he said that he has been making the best of his efforts in order to score some reasonable points in the Spanish GP.
“I feel very comfortable in the team and I'm enjoying the season. A few of the races haven't worked out for me, but I'm looking forward not backwards and determined to get some great results for the team. I'm working well with my car crew, we are pushing
hard and we will try our best to get back in the points this weekend,” he said.
On the other hand, his teammate, Paul di Resta has performed quite convincingly in the first four races and is standing at 10th position in the drivers’ championship with 15 points ahead of Bruno Senna of Williams.
Over and above, Force India have been trying to make the necessary preparations and substantial developments to improve their ranking in 2012 Formula 1 Season.
