Nico Rosberg hopes to come up stronger in 2012 German Grand Prix – Formula 1 news

Mercedes driver Nico Rosberg has said that he is hoping to come up stronger in 2012 German Grand Prix which is to be held at Hockenheimring on July 22 after struggling in the preceding race.
Rosberg could not make his way into the third session of the qualifying in the British GP at Silverstone Circuit and came 15th in the race. Although, he could not score even a single point in the last race, however, he is positively looking forward
to perform well in the upcoming race.
“I will be pushing really hard to perform well in front of fans in Mercedes Grandstand, so we can hopefully celebrate good result,” he said. “I think car should suit this track better than Silverstone.”
The veteran German driver is presently standing at 6th place in the drivers’ championship with 75 points between the pair of Lotus drivers, Romain Grosjean and Kimi Raikkonen.
Besides, he has been one of the most consistent point scorers in the season so far. Furthermore, it will be important to mention here that he took his maiden victory in the Chinese GP held at Shanghai International Circuit in China after claiming his first
ever pole position.
Additionally, he secured an impressive second podium finish in the Monaco GP at Circuit de Monaco in Monte Carlo after setting off from the second place in the grid.
On the other hand, the team principal of Mercedes, Ross Brawn asserted that they have planned to launch some updates in W03 and are focussing to attain good results in the forthcoming race.
In addition, he said that they are expecting to gain advantage from the track of the next race as they believe that it will suit their car.
“Our performance has been up and down recently, ranging from podiums to lower points finishes, and we need to work hard to improve our level of consistency and ability to challenge at front of field,” he said. “The Hockenheim layout should be more suited
to W03 than high-speed Silverstone layout, and we are bringing some further improvements to car which should help our performance.”
