  1. Yes I believe that quite of the very hard punching champions and non champions could have ko'd him.  Here are a few that could have.

    Joe Louis

    Jack Dempsey

    Sonny Liston

    Rocky Marciano

    Earnie Shavers

    George Foreman

    Max Baer

    Gerry Cooney

    Joe Frazier

    Mike Tyson

    Evander Holyfield

I also believe that Muhammad Ali and Larry Holmes would have stopped him on cuts or by tko.

  2. For as big as he is, Valuev is very hittable.  Light-punching Monte Barrett caused his knees to buckle.  And I had a friend from Philly, Gerald Nobles go to Germany to fight Valuev in '04.  From the reports I read (and many of these the local reports from Germany), Nobles was holding his own and Valuev hurt with several body shots before being "curiously" disqualified.

Many of hte great heavyweights would have carved Valuev to pieces and stopped him.  TIMBER!!!!

  3. Lennox Lewis has, by far, the best chance of Knocking out the BIg Freak.  I don't think guys like Dempsey, Marciano or Frazier would have come close.  They're MUCH Too Small and they'are NOT boxers.  ALL are, overall, Better than that Big Sub-Human Freak but he's simply too big.

People Crack me up in their thinking that Dempsey, because he beat the Very Inept Jess Willard and Luis Firpo, could beat ANY big fighter.  Lennox Lewis would Kill Dempsey.  He's the Only Big man who can actually FIGHT.

Holmes and ALI might have a good chance of extending the BIG Freak past the middle rounds, then putting him down.  Even Joe Louis might be too small.  He MIGHT be able to box him into the middle rounds then finish him with a combination.  That's a stretch.

Size isn't everything as Dempsey Did prove againt Willard and Valuev isn't much better.    Still, he would be much too big for guys like Dempsey, Marciano or Frazier.  Frazier would lose to anyone who is Clearly bigger than him and can punch a little.  He had only ONE gear.  Dumb trucks just don't beat 18Wheelers in a head-on collission.  Marciano and Dempsey had slightly better defense than Frazier but neither would do much aganist the Big Freak.

Forman might KO him,  IF Monte Beret was able to last a few rounds with him, fighting a stupid fight,  Forman could KO him.  Lewis would too.  He has the best chance of beating Valuev.

  4. Dempsey was like Jack from Jack and the beanstalk: a giant killer.  He would have blast Valuev in 5 rounds.

I think Lennox Lewis had enough size and athleticism to put a strong shot into Valuev's mug to score a KO.

  5. My best guess would have to be Primo Carnera, that guy was huge in his own right. 6'8 3/4" 276 lbs. and also i forgot Vitali Klitschko, he himself was 6'71/2" 250 lbs. as far as matching body size goes, i would choose those two. there are others who have a good chance of completely KO'ing Valuev such as 1980's Mike Tyson (okay even that's a long shot) and maybe even Lennox Lewis but the only problem with him is that, i've never seen that killer instinct in him, i mean he probably does have and does a heck of a job hiding it but i just dont see it.
