News in Russian media suggests that Zenit St. Petersburg are interested in signing Manchester United midfielder-c*m-winger, Luis Nani, during the ongoing summer transfer window.

Zenit St. Petersburg defender, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Nicolas-Lombaerts-c27825, has expressed his excitement over the speculation, saying that it will be a privilege to play alongside the prolific winger, who he regards as one of the most coveted players in
Europe.
"I have read in the papers that he wants to leave Manchester United. I will welcome him at Zenit. It is clear that for such a player, Zenit will have to fork out enough money but he is worth it.” The UEFA Cup winner was quoted

However, the deal is unlikely to go through as the Manchester-based club have reportedly put a 20 million Euros price tag on the UEFA Champions League winner.
If speculations are to be believed, Paris Saint-Germain, AC Milan and Manchester City are also keeping tabs on the 28-year-old winger, who scored eight goals in 29 league appearances last season.
Commenting on the upcoming match against Rubin Kazan, Lombaerts has urged his side to extend their decent league run after defeating the Kazan-based club at home. He assured the fans of displaying quality football on Saturday.
"Of course, the match will not be easy as Ruby always plays hard against us. They have an organized team, which is famous for their dangerous counterattacks. We all know that. I hope we can score first.” He concluded.
The Belgian national went on to demand proper conduct from the crowd ahead of the match, saying that he hates racism.
