The Marseille defender has attracted a lot of interest from a host of top European sides following a number of impressive performances last season
The 22-year-old is a player in demand at the moment with the likes of Barcelona and AC Milan in the race for the player’s signature. The latest club to show an interest in the highly-rated youngster are English Premier League champions, Manchester City.
However, N’Koulou does not want to leave the Rhone giants but a lucrative offer from a top European club would push the cash-strapped Ligue 1 club to part ways with the talented youngster.

"I want to stay with Marseille and I am focusing on the upcoming season. I just arrived at OM. I want to be part of this great club.”
The 22-year-old stated that it would hurt him if Olympique Marseille decide to cash-in on him but admitted that it’s not in his hand to make a decision about that.
“If I learned that the club wants to sell me, it would hurt me. But it's football after all. Sometimes there are decisions that we take reluctantly,” the 22-year-old told reporters.
Nicolas N’Koulou’s reluctance to move away from Stade Velodrome has not halted other clubs' pursuit in the player.
According to reports, Manchester City are keeping tabs on N’Koulou’s situation and are reportedly preparing a bid for the player. The Citizens are set to rival the likes of Barcelona and AC Milan for the signature of the Cameroon international, who has still
three years to run on his contract with Marseille.
Spanish giants, Barcelona are on a lookout for a central defender and the bosses at the club have identified N’Koulou as a player who could easily fit in the Barca team.
Manchester City, on the other hand, have inquired about the Marseille defender as they look to provide extra competition to the current defenders at the club.
Nicolas N’Koulou was an integral part of Marseille last season under Didier Deschamps. The 22-year-old managed to make 30 Ligue 1 appearances in his first season at Stade Velodrome.
