Manchester City’s http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Nigel-de-Jong-c27882 has claimed that City won’t crack under the pressure that is being forced on them and are more than likely to win the Premier League.
City are currently on top of the Premier League, with two points separating them from second place Manchester United.
However, most people have started to claim that City are bound to crumble under the pressure of the league sooner, rather than later and hence United are going to go on and win the Premier League crown.
De Jong seems to disagree with all these critics, as the midfielder has stated that City aren’t worried about United at all. He went on to add that the team was more focused on trying to produce the best possible results in the coming weeks and is hopeful
that the right mindset will help the team go all the way.
The Dutch international, when talking about City and their ability to win the league is quoted to have said:  “We are honestly not thinking about United. We aren’t feeling any pressure from them because the only pressure we feel is what we put on ourselves.”
“We expect this fight to go on until the last games of the season. United have won the Premier League before, but I don’t think that gives them an advantage.”
“Last season City showed they are winners in the FA Cup. There are winners everywhere at the club.”
The defensive midfielder then went on to claim that City was filled with people who have had plenty of experience at winning titles in the past and hence the team knew just what it had to do, to go all the way.
He then went on to end by highlighting the benefits of having Yaya Toure and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Roberto-c31294 Mancini amongst the mix, as he went on to add:
“Yaya Toure has won the biggest trophies with Barcelona and Roberto http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mancini-c23323 has won many titles as a player and a coach in Italy.”
It is now a wait till the end of the season to see just who ends up winning the Premier League crown.
