Night and Farewell to Manzanar?

I have read both Night and Farewell to Manzanar, I am having trouble coming across some topics for the two essays I have to write. I have a few, but, was wondering what you thought would be most important. Here is what I have to write about, Comparing and contrasting the general experiences of the two authours and Comparing and contrasting the camps themselves.

Tell me what you think. I have already a few, but just need a little guide to help me. I am going into English honors 2 and want to make a good impression on the teacher. Your help is appreciated. Thanks.

The topic should be "Comparing and contrasting the general experiences of the two authors and Comparing and contrasting the camps themselves" You probably don't need to be more specific if you are in a high school English 1 class.

But I guess you could focus on the way the two protagonists dealt with the camps, the severity of the conditions at each camp, and the way each of the stories is resolved.
