Hi! I'm spending 2 nights in London in July. My returning flight departures at 06:20am from Heathrow. So, I must arrive around 04:20am there. The only way to get to Heathrow at this time is taking N9 night bus. But I am concerned about SAFETY... Is it safe for a tourist with luggage to take this night bus? Thank you!

  1. Why don't you just take the last tube train the night before and sleep at heathrow... or hire a taxi if you are worried about the bus.

  2. I'd go with the last tube as well (or maybe the one before the last just to be on the safe side) as I heard once that the N9 might not be 100% reliable in turning up ... I somehow doubt there would be many safety issues at that time of the morning ... all the drunks would have gone home long before ... but if you take the tube you haven't actually got all that much time to wait before checking in starts and you'll be at the head of the queue ... plus you save yourself the cost of a hotel room for the night

  3. Get a taxi. Don't take the risk of being stabbed in a random, unprovoked attack. There are a lot of crazy people roaming the streets of London 24/7.
