  1. I agree with the other answers that Downtown Disney and Disney Boardwalk are both fun places at night. There are plenty of restaurant and shopping choices; entertainment, and great people watching.

Keep in mind that some of the Parks are open at night; so you won't need to leave the Parks for a bit of night time fun.

The Fantasmic show at Disney Hollywood Studios is only shown at night. You could do a Fantasmic Dinner package, eat dinner at Hollywood Brown Derby, Mama Melrose's Ristorante Italiano, or Hollywood & Vine; and get a pass/ticket for a guaranteed seat at Fantasmic.

The Illuminations laser light and fireworks show at the World Showcase Lagoon at Epcot is held at night too. You could make reservations for dinner at one of the full service restaurants around the world showcase a couple hours before Illuminations. Then, after dinner, stroll around a bit, and grab some dessert or maybe a glass of wine, find a spot to view Illuminations and eat your dessert or sip your wine.

If you will be traveling to Disney this fall, then you could do the Food and Wine Festival at Epcot. The festival runs all day, and there is food and activities into the evening.

    September 26 through November 9, 2008

Concerts, food and wine demonstrations, etc. For and extra charge you can have dinner, a food and wine pairing.

  2. You can go to the Adventurer's Club at Downtown Disney...it's a themed place where you can get drinks and there are characters that walk around and interact with you.  Or if you're willing to spend a little more money, Cirque du Soleil's show La Nouba is fantastic.  It's very worth it, you will never see anything like it.

  3. There are tons of things to do at night at Disney.  Downtown Disney is open late, most shops until 10 or 11pm, some until midnight.  The food at Fulton's is out of this world, if you have time a must.  Ghirardelli's chocolate and Haagan Daz ice cream shops are a nice end to a day.  There is DisneyQuest, for the kid in you.  Many of the other restaurants like Cap'n Jack's and Rainforest Cafe are also open late.  Also, check out Downtown Disney Westside, same deal.

The parks are open later as well.  Check the calendar for exact times, but you want to check out the parks at night as they are all lit up.  Three of the parks have outstanding night time shows.  The Magic Kingdom has the Spectromagic parade as well as the "Wishes" night time fireworks show.  Epcot as the Illuminations night time fireworks and laser light show in the World Showcase.  Disney Studios has the best of them all, Fantasmic.  Fantasmic is a night time laser, fireworks and water show that is phenominal.  I included a link below from the Disney website, you can check times and dates for the scheduled operational times of the night time shows.

You are also going to want to take advantage of the Extra Magic Hours, if you are a resort guest.  Anyone who stays at a Disney resort can take advantage of Extra Magic hours, where one park each night is open way past close.  When I was there in March the Magic Kingdom was open for resort guests until 3am!  However, you have to show your resort I.D. to get an I.D. bracelet.  If you don't have the I.D., and they do check, you will be escorted from the park.

I hope this helps some.  If you want more info about going to Disney, check out the disboards.  The disboards is a free message boards website that is all about going to Disney.  You can get resort reviews, restaurant reviews, advice, tips, tricks, and much more.  I learn something new every time I am on the site.  I put that link below as well.

    Have a great trip!!

  4. You could go to the west side of Downtown Disney. They have tons of restaurants like Bongos or Wolfgang Pucks. They also have a movie theater, Cirque Du Soleil and a House of Blues that has live bands every night.

It is fun to just walk around there & people watch too.

  5. Well, Theirs definetly alot of things to do at Downtown Disney for People who love clubs, but unfortunately you donot like them.

Fear not! their is something called the Bordwalk at disney world. Theirs so many places to eat their, and its just fun. You can also go to downtown disney to go see a movie at the very great AMC Theatre. Their is also alot of nice places to eat at Downtown disney without going to Pleasure Island.

    Good Luck, And Have Fun

  6. There is the Cirque du Soleil (my husband and I LOVED it).  You could eat a nice dinner at Fulton's Crab House - a little expensive but a fancy kind of experience.  Raglan Road is a great Irish restaurant that has a HUGE bar open kind of late.  There are plenty of other restaurants that are good for adults.  There is also an AMC  (sp) theater at Downtown Disney to see a movie.  My husband and I haven't really ventured off of the Disney property during our visits so we've always been limited to the Disney realm.  You don't like clubs but you should maybe peak into the 8 Trax club -- they play 70's and 80's music and show music videos.  It's kind of fun to sit around and watch everyone make a fool of themselves and it's always packed.  The pleasure island clubs are closing in September anyways.
