Night life in Adelaide?

Hi, I am going to live near University of South Australia. So please give me answers that are close to the campus. thanks.

1) How's the night life there?

2) What are the activities that I can do during the night?

3) What kinds of shops are open during the night?

4) Are there many people out on the streets enjoying the night life?

ok i'm not very old but the nightlife isnt great. the adelaide campus luckily is near the city so there is some nightlife there. the shops arent open for long in the night but on thursday they r open till 9

I was there for 2 weeks and the best places i went were HQ nightclub although there were metal detectors etc there lol not sure if it was because its ruff but was ok in there.

Also i think a place called red square was prity good. Cant remerb anymroe realy. But i remember 1 night HQ closed an we were walkin up the main street an went in 1 of the 24 hour pubs for a last pint. Met some proper nut case bikers in there, i went to the toilet and there were needles everywhere lol realy dodgy place but good experience lol

1. Nightlife is alright, but better in other cities in Oz. Mainly one street in the CBD has all the good bars.

2. Eat

3. Same as last response. They don't open for long till 6 really.

4. There is a decent amount of people out at night. Not too many that it feels overwhelming and not too less that it seems dead.
