  1. You don't state if you are in menopause or not. My suggestion is to sleep with the most minimal amount of clothing, and the most minimal amount of bedclothes.  Then there's the ob vious like open window, fan or airconditionor. There are herbal remedies you can try or medications that you can only get from you Dr. such as clonidine or effexor. Best advice just sleep in your birthday suit.

  2. I have started going thru the big M myself during the last couple of years.  The best thing I can suggest is sleep in your birthday suit, keep a fan running 24/7, have cool water  close at hand, and keeping an assortment of light layers of sheets and blankets handy.  I have found that flannel sheets work best for me because I get the warmth when I need but not the extra weight on top of the regular sheet.  Also found that standing outside in the middle of winter in my shorts with the snow up to my waist with no coat on is a nice way to stay cool too!  lol

  3. Have your Estogen checked. You're getting to that age. Not a biggie tho. We all go thru it both men and women.

  4. sounds like the start of menopause. i went through it at 49. try sleeping in something very lightweight. i also used a fan to help circulate the air in the bed room. i slept with only a sheet on me. something that if i should need something wasn't too heavy on me. i also when i was up and around dressed cooly ,even in the winter time. i kept ice water on hand to help me keep cool. due to a stroke i had had i could not take anything normally given for menopuse but there are some natural vvitamins out there that do work great. your ob/gyn should be able to tell you the name. it's been awhile and i can't remember what it was i was taking to help me.
