Nightlife in Manhattan NYC Best clubs?

Hi, I am looking for a great place to hangout/party this Saturday. I don't need to be around celebs but I don't want to be in a club standing next to guys with hot breath who expect me to get excited if they offer to buy my drink. Thanks, but I got my drink. Any suggestions? My fav type of music is hiphop/r&b but Iam not too picky & can enjoy most any type. Also I would like to find a nice place that I can get into w/o paying a crooked doorman $$$ but willing to pay $$!
