Nightlife in Slough?

I am looking for a nice restaurant or bar or pub in Slough...to go with friends...is there anything interesting and nice to do in that city?

There is a really nice pub/restaurant in beaconsfield, which is kind of near slough. That's the only really nice one I know!  but be careful, because Slough can be a bit dodgy at night!

And by the way, Slough isn't a city!

Depends what type of food you are looking for and how you are getting around.

There are some nice places outside Slough if you are driving.

If you are coming by train then there are a few places in town, Nandos etc on the high street.

Outside you have places like the Crooked Billet and the Red Lion.

Lots of Indian / Chinese / Thai  Restaurants near the High Street too.
