Nightlife on a Thursday Night ?

So i've been living in Bahrain for nearly 4 months now and i've only gone out to party twice. Some of the problem is not knowing where to go (The only good website for nightlife details is clickbahrain.com).

If anyone could recommend a bar for me I would greatly appreciate it.

A little about me -

(1) 24 Years old

(2) Of Irish Origin

(3) Like Rock music but will listen to anything

Also a place thats not crowded with hookers would be great becasue I tend to go out on my own so most of them assume becasue I'm on my own i'm looking for "a good time", which I am not interested in.

(2) JJ's

(3) Rock Bottom

(4) Rockin' Z's

Wranglers!

and the Cocoon Lounge.

There both located in the Best Western Hotel in Juffair.

Wranglers is a nightclub insided the hotel, and the cocoon lounge is right outside the hotel and is a bar/lounge.

I do not really party, so I wouldn't be able to help you by giving you exact answers and details regarding places you could go to.

But I could tell you this.

You probably need the latest issue from "Explorer Bahrain"... it really has so much information that could help you in finding anything you want/want to do in Bahrain.

The problem is that I have the 1st issue, so it's not as up-dated as needed.

It also has contact numbers of the places, and a paragraph describing the place.
