my friend works in a nursing home on altheimers ward. She said its weird, sometimes a plague of nightmares sweeps through the entire place. Why would almost everyone be affected by nightmares at the same time. Do you think nightmares could actually be a manifestation of types of some sort of entity or energy?

  1. Maybe their medications get screwed up.

When you have a lot of residents, I'm sure it's hard to keep track of all their medications and when they are required to take them.

  2. I beleive that Alzeimers is indeed in some ways an awakening.  I would not discount this.  I do find it perculiar though that they all are having nightmares.  Might be something else causing the nightmares like food etc, My ex used to work in a nursing home and she had a strong spiritual sight and could see lots of entities in the nursing home.

I remember one case though where the entire dementia ward was going off with strange happenings and lots of dreams and screams etc.  Following this there was a break out of a gastro bug and the disturbances all went away.

Nursing homes can be very active places.  But my thinking is always rule out the normal before you look for the paranormal.

  3. One person has a nightmare and talks about it.  Then the people who heard about it think about it and have nightmares too and it spreads through the whole place.

  4. Somebody with paranormal expertise need to get down to that nursing home right away.

  5. I have been having really bad nightmares this week..last night was so bad I couldn't go back to sleep. it was about the shadows...men wearing black..lurking behind the corners.

Yes, I believe It is related to some sort of energy,,my children sometimes have nightmares the same time I do.

  6. When this happens, have your friend record the foods that were prepared for the residents at lunch and dinner.

Chemicals from food can alter our moods.

Sugary foods can cause a rush or hyperactivity.

Too much salt can trigger RLS, or restless leg syndrome, and high blood pressure.

    So forth and so on.

So find out what is being eaten, have those foods removed from their diet for about a month, and see if any changes happen.

  7. if none of the patients have spoken to one another but they all recount the same story to their doctor, it could be something. But if they have talked to each other, it is likely they have created the dream.

Food can also create things. I have really bad nightmares if i eat cheese/dairy past 8pm. Someone should get down there is an emf detector to see if faulty wireing could be a factor. Also try contacting paranormal groups and people that work there, they could tell you if something is going on. Also a sensitive.

  8. I believe nightmares have a spiritual source, like an attack on us in our sleep by evil spirits usually. I have found that the only way to really stop them is by rebuking the spirits behind the attack in the name of Jesus, and if they persist every night or recur, the person needs laying on of hands.

  9. We are all linked. In the weeks before 9/11 the same thing happened world wide.

People with Alzheimer's don't have that barrier that prevents them from viewing reality from the other side.

You have to understand the brain is only the tool, the modem if you will that communicates with the global or spiritual mind. Yes the brain dies and when that happens communication with this world is cut off. The miracle is if you can call it that is sometimes when the brain is injured or diseased those individuals have insights like you cannot believe.

Lastly don't believe that everything they see is a nightmare, there are very positive things they experience. The disease prevents them from communicating what they experienced.

  10. yeah i do. but I'm not sure what type of entity though.

  11. And since Alzheimer's patients rarely can communicate reliably once they've deteriorated enough to be institutionalized, how does your friend know they all have nightmares?  No, nightmares are not a manifestation of demonic possession or any of that silliness.
