Nightmares?

I have not had a decent night`s sleep for 3 nights now and it is taking a toll on my work and family. I am tired and cranky and snap at my customers. I probably look like h**l, too. I wake up every night at almost the same time (between 12:30 and 1), heart pounding and hands shaking. I turn on the tv to try to get the nightmare out of my head and end up getting a meager hour of sleep in my computer chair. I don`t even want to go to sleep in fear of these nightmares but I have to rest or I`m going to go insane. Do these nightmares mean something? I don`t think it`s stress and my life is pretty good right now, no job trouble or family woes and i haven`t been watching any scary movies or anything...

Night 1 - gory dream of a wolf the size of a bull breaking into our house and tearing my family to shreds

Night 2 - hiding in a locker room as some guy with a sword tries to find me by stabbing each and every locker until he finds me.

Night 3 - being chased thru forest at nite by huge bear

  1. Have you heard the phrase, "Barely keeping the wolf from the door"?  It refers to trying to keep hunger at bay... keeping your family well fed and supplied with what they need.  In this case, the wolf may represent your fears that financial problems will harm your family... tear them to shreds, so to speak.

It is possible the bear also represents financial obligations and deadlines chasing you.

The other dreams sounds almost like a fear of random violence, or it could just be your stress.  It sounds like there are problems you are trying to hide from, as well as those you are running from.

Pray for peace of mind.  Ask in the admissions and financial aid offices at your school if there is any way they can help you get more assistance.  Pray for God to meet your needs, and to show you the best path for you to take to get where you need to go.

    God bless you,

    Fairelight

  2. My advice is go for help. There is something that lodged in your subconscience. that might of happened to you when you were younger. I can't really interpet dream. Has anyone close died recently, or do you have fear. As I said before go for help.

  3. Ok it's likely to be stress if thats the case try warm milk, a hot bath and even nookie before sleeo see if that helps
