Nike + armband multiple sensors?

Question

I lost my Nike + armband at school on the oval and one was found there and handed into the lost property the same day.

However i cant get the armband to link with the sensor. I'm assuming it must be some one else's. However i do find it unlikely, there not very popular in my country (Australia).

Is there a serial number or something on both of them that would identify there link?

I know the iPod receiver can be set to link with more than 1 sensor. It's been over a week and no one else has claimed it. So is there a way to link the armband with another sensor?

Yes you can connect the Sportband with any sensor.  Just press the button on the side (I think it is called the toggle button? Not the start button) for about 3-5 seconds and it will search for the new sensor.  Walk around and it will find and connect.

I used mine with 2 different sensors for a while (until my older sensor died) and just had to go through this exercise each time I switched.
