Nike+ with ipod tuch?

does the nike+ running stuff work with the ipod tuch or is it ipod nano only also does the ipod tuch have the same thing as other ipods at the bottom for charging so it will work with old docking station

at the minute the current nike+ can only work with the nano

there are rumours that a NEW version of nike+ is being replaced to work with the iphone/ipod touch that will use the GPS/locations services to map your route but its not yet released and only a rumour.
