I really dont think anyone should be labeled with that. It is not very fair for the athlete.  Look at the amount of pressure that is on Sidney Crosby right now.

He is not even the top player in the draft... how could he be compared to the GREAT ONE....  he isnt as good as his own peers according to draft rankings!

Doubt it, Wayne Gretzky is Wayne Gretzky, no one else. Although Filatov is great as well, no one will be as great as the Great One. It was simply a different game then.

yeah im gonna have to say no f*cking way!!!!!  the best russian player at the moment is ovechkin and i dotn even like him and no one will ever be like gretzky,,  perhaps you were drunk when you wrote this
