Niko Kranjcar looking to find a way out of Spurs
Tottenham Hotspur’s prolific midfielder, Niko Kranjcar has gone ahead and claimed that he is unhappy at the club and is more than likely to move away, if he doesn’t get more playing time in the near future.
In fact the news of the player wanting to leave seems to have spread like wild fire as three clubs, have already shown interest in signing the player. Two of those clubs are unnamed sides from the Premier League, while the third is French side, Monaco.
The Croatian international recently said in an interview, that he might seriously end up leaving White Hart Lane, as a direct result of the limited playing time he has gotten so far this season, with Tottenham. Kranjcar has not made a start to a single game
so far this season and doesn’t look like he will be making any starts in the near future.
Kranjcar is still considerd to be amongst the best midfielders in the Premier League at the moment, which is exactly why so many teams are looking to pursue the player, despite him not being sure about whether he wants to stay at the club or not in the future.
Harry Redknapp who is the current manager of Tottenham, has gone on to assure the player that he is still a part of the teams future and that he shouldn’t be jumping to conclusions. The manager was reported to have said: “I’ve got a lot of games coming up
and Niko is very much in my plans to play,
“Niko’s been unlucky, he was fantastic in training but with Gareth Bale on the left what do you do?
“It’s hard for him. He’s an unbelievable pro and a great guy.”
Kranjcar is set to play for the Croatian international side against Israel this coming Saturday, in both the teams qualifying games for the Euro 2012. Considering he is still a vital part of the international team, proves that he is still considered to be
amongst the better Croatian players out there, which is why he feels cheated by Tottenham, who are failing to provide him with the field time he deserves.
Niko Kranjcar is easily a fantastic player, but with that being said it is highly unlikely that he will ever become a first choice player at the White Hart Lane. This is because with the likes of Gareth Bale, Luka Modric and Rafael Van Der Vaart, the player
has very little or no space in the Tottenham starting eleven.
The player was brought into the side for a mere two million pounds and since then has gone on to prove his worth to Tottenham. However the club needs to realize, that if the player is not going to get any time on the field, this would result in him getting
kind of rusty. That is why they should seriously consider letting the player leave for whatever team is willing to buy him. With the numerous offers that are already present, it wouldn’t be so hard to do just that.
The player could use the field time to harness his skills even further and perhaps regain his status of being, one of the deadliest midfielders in the world.
