Nikola Kalinic close to Blackburn Rovers exit, linked with Dnipro, agent confirms

The player’s agent Tomislav Erceg confirmed his client was looking to play regular first team football, which did not seem possible at Blackburn and could lead to his exit in the summer transfer window.
The Croatian striker, according to his agent, is highly unlikely to feature for the Rovers again, which means he will not be a part of the squad in the upcoming campaign. So far he has been linked with a move to Dnipro, the Ukrainian outfit.
Dnipro are reportedly willing to pay as much as £6 million for the striker, but no agreement has been reached between the two sides. Kalinic signed with Blackburn Rovers in the summer of 2009 on a four year deal for an estimated fee of £6 million from Hajduk Split. He was unable to make his debut for Blackburn at the beginning of the season since he had to wait for his work permits and other documents to be finalized.
He had a less than average first season at the club, making 33 appearances and scoring 7 goals in all competitions. The next season he failed to maintain his position in the starting XI and went on to make just 20 appearances in all competitions.
