Nikon 55-200 or 70-300?

Question

I'm looking to get a telephoto lens to ride along with my 18-55. I'm not real sure which one to get. Whatever lens I got would have VR and I need the telephoto to shoot everything from weddings to large retreats withover 5,000 people to little league baseball games. I'm a little bit tight on money, but I could manage to get either one. I can't afford any of the f 2.8 ones though. :( Let me know what you think is the better all around telephoto lens. Thank you!

The 70-300 mm will give you a little longer reach, especially when shooting baseball.

The small focal length between 55 and 70mm may not even be noticed when you are shooting like a wildman

the nikkor 70-300 is best along with its 16-85mm

this combo is unbeatible
