Nikon Coolpix P80?

Question

I recently purchased this camera and want to buy a UV filter for it.

I went to J&R and realized taht 37mm is too small. After measuring it it seemed like it was either 39 or 40.5mm so I went with 39mm.

The 39mm is SLIGHTLYYYYYYYYYYYY too big. I would peg it at something slightly lower but does anyone know exactly what size filter fits?

I can't find my answer anywhere online (not dpreview, not popphoto, et al.)

I took a quick look around and all I came up with is that one guy measured his at 38.1mm. And that 37mm, or 39mm was the only size you could get that were close though not good enough. I guess they do make a 38mm filter, but it's like in the $400 range and made by Hasselblad (sp?). Thus, you may be out of luck, sorry.
