Nikon Coolpix S550 OR Sony CyberShot DSCT300???

Question

I want to purchase a new digital camera but am unsure of which one to buy.

My main concern is picture quality!! (sharpness/colour etc...)

I want a compact camera and and these 2 are within my budget.

Which one should I buy? or is there another one I should get?

I will be using them for general photography....trips/sightseeing/parties... etc

I have looked at reviews from many sites and I am stil undecided....all advice is very much appreciated!!

I personally like Nikon more than Sony...

I take tons of pictures when I travel and I love my Nikon cameras =]

I would prefer the Nikon.  I own an Olympus Evolt 410 and I'm quite pleased with it.  Good luck!!
