Question:

Nikon Coolpix S6 Help?

I'm using the Nikon Coolpix S6 and I can't figure out how to get rid of this tiny yellow pixel that shows up with every picture. When I see the picture through the screen while I'm taking it, in between the focusing line there is this small yellow dot. It's not even in the center of those lines (the lines that look like [ ] )

And when I go to view my pictures, it always shows up. Is there a way to get rid of this?

Also, whenever I take a picture, this question always pops up - "This picture is blurred, would you like to keep it?"

the picture is NOT blurred at all and yet it makes me select yes or no every single time before I can take another picture. I wait for the camera to focus and everything but the question still shows up.

  1. You have a dead or hot pixel. They happen, nothing you can do. Repair would most likely cost more than a new camera.

Learn how to use an image editor, and get rid of the pixel in post processing.

The warning message is probably right. They look sharp on the tiny little screen, but once you zoom in on the computer, you realize they really ARE blurred.

It means you are trying to hand hold your camera in low light where you really should be using a tripod or a little beanbag on a flat surface, together with the self timer to avoid blur.
