Nikon D60,Mac, & Raw/NEF ?

OK i just bought a Nikon D60 and i love it! but threes one problem i cant open RAW/NEF files on my mac book i couldn't open them in Photoshop or in Preview What the heck can i do!? Someone please help and give good detail. thank you.

I had the same problem, except I'm on PC, though the principle is the same.  First, go to Nikon's website (www.nikonusa.com) and search for "raw" or "nef."  

Download that (for Mac) and install.

Then, for photoshop, go to google and search for "Camera Raw."  You should update to the latest version, though I believe the version 4.1 supports the D60.

Then, just find the old version of Camera Raw in your folders and replace it with version 4.1 or whatever version you decide to download.

Go to adobe.com and download the latest camera RAW file and replace the one in your photoshop. Adobe does several updates each year to support more cameras in Camera RAW. The version in your photoshop was probably on the shelf before there even was a D60 so its not recognizing it
