Nikon F55 and an assignment?

I need to click some pictures of Monuments for an assignment for my photography class.

Any special tips, guidance..?

  1. 1. Make sure there's no backlighting

    2. If the monument is lit at night, consider shooting it at that time

    3. Use a tripod if you're doing the above.

    4. Try using interesting angles when shooting the subject- don't just shoot dead on.

    5. Keep composition in mind. Remember the "rule of thirds" (your instructor should teach you this)

    6. Do not use flash.


  2. You might want to let us know where you are so we can tell you whats to shoot.  The more information the better.  People will start recommending good monuments in Africa and South America if you dont be more specific.
