Nikon Lens Question?

I was wondering if the Nikon Teleconverter's (TC-14E/II, TC-17E/II, TC-20II) worked with "zoom" lenses, or just non-zoom lenses only like a Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 300mm f/4D IF-ED for example. Thanks for the help!

  1. The auto focus sensor in all cameras needs a lens with a aperture of at least 5.6 for it too work with teleconverters you'll lose 2 stops of light with TC20E, 1.7 stops with TC 17E, and 1.5 stops with the TC 14E.

Read at the bottom of the page.
