Nikon or Canon?

Question

i am getting a new digital camera. i had a sony cybershot, but now i can't decide between Nikon or Canon. I honestly, liked the hold and feel and felt more comfortable with the Canon.. but everyone says nikons work better. But do canons still take good enough quality? What is the difference between them?

This is an ever-lasting question. There is no doubt that both companies make an outstanding camera. As for which one is better, that's for you to decide. Go to your local electronics store (Best Buy, Circuit City, etc.) and try out similar types of cameras from both Nikon and Canon. By doing this you'll get a feel for the cameras instead of just going by what other people say. Whichever one you feel most comfortable with is probably better for you. As far as differences go, a digital camera is a digital camera in my mind.... It mainly depends what you're looking for. Good luck and have fun!
