Nile boat cruise Egypt!?

Question

Hi me and my partner are considering a nile boat cruise for our honeymoon with first choice!!!!

we are both in our twenties and plan to go sept 1st for a week!!!!

we have never been to Egypt before but are both really interested in seeing the sights and have been told this is the best way to do it!!!!

we just want a holiday to remember with a bit of culture!!!!

has anyone got any advice they could give us?? what the weather will be like in Egypt in September etc! would especially like to hear from someone who has done this sort of thing before!!!!

Egypt's best places are the pyramids (In Giza), Karnak, Alexandria (one of the most known cities in Egypt, Weather is good in Alexandria).

But the problem that the weather is some how not good these days, it is so shiny. But i think It would be better in Septmeber.

Take care, don't let someone folks you. I think Egypt is so cheap for you.

Have cruised the Nile a nimber of times, both Luxor to Aswan and back again.

Try to avoid cruises run by westernised holiday companies, they are overpriced

Online or from brochures you have no idea how good the boat or cruise will be, therefore I find it is best to wait until I get ther. Talk to people coming off the boats they will tell you whether it was good or bad.

Decide what sights you want to see and then check how long the cruise will visit for.

It's not unknown for holiday company cruises to avoid the best sites and instead go concentrate on tacky souvenir places.

Remember once you are on the boat, you are the mercy of their pricing and you are a captive audience. Know in advance what they will be charging for extra food, drinks etc.

Pick the right boat, with knowledgable local guides and you will enjoy yourselves.

make sure you take a suitcase full of immodium...those cruises are renound for food poisoning................if i were u i would spend a week in Cairo and a week in Luxor in a 4 or 5 star hotel...........plenty of culture to see in both of those places and lets face it you want a bit of luxury on your honeymoon..............if u think you want to return then do the cruise next time

Cairo may be little cold for natives in their unheated homes. But if you in your hotel it will be fine.

As you go south down the river it will be superb warm and not hot in September.

Enjoy nice Boat Trip Down The River seeing the villages at river bank down south to see the temples.

It is still hot during September and October in Luxor. About 35 degrees but dry weather.  the cruise is AWESOME.

welcome to Egypt , pls  tell me your country to can arrange for good trip in Egypt ,usually the cruise will be from luxor to Aswan or from Aswan to luxor for 4 nights , when you tell me your country i can know how many nights 6 or 7 ,after i know that i can tell you about the best way to do this trip
