Nile cruise?

there's a small splash pool - can I sit up there in my bikini or am I really expeted to wear full dress (to settle another dispute, thanks)...

OH YES. you can. as long as your cruise is in not a restricted country.

Yes, there is no problem with wearing a bikini on a Nile Cruise by the Pool, if you can stand the sun.

It is boiling hot and you cannot stay in the direct sunlight for long, luckily there are shaded areas on the top deck where you can sit but even under shade it is uncomfortably hot.

My advice is to be very careful, you can get very burnt in a very short time.

By the pool, yes you can wear your Bikini. but have a cover up near by. Egypt is a Muslim country and you MUST respect their customs. you wouldn't want to insult your hosts. Never wear shorts and sun top to go sightseeing, always cover up in something with longer sleeves ( you can wear something of thin material and still be coolish.) remember to buy lots of bottled water and take a large brimmed hat. or even an umbrella to keep the sun off you. The heat is unbearable, you will find your self desperate for shade at times and there is none. wash ANY fruit you buy in Bottled water BEFORE you peel it. the stuff they grow it in can get on your fingers and you'll get sick. wash EVERYTHING first un peeled Oranges too. take along the strongest anti diarrhea medication you can take. you'll be glad you did.
