I've just gone on and given a thumbs down to any mention of the ninja 250. One guy was 6'7" 280Lbs. and some moron post half a book about how a Ninja 250 would be the best bike for him. The next is people giving advice on how to hook up a pocket bike or scooter. For all it costs to make it go fast, you could just buy a faster bike. Duh. One guy suggested a yoshi pipe on a 49cc pocket bike. Some people just have to have something to say, even if it's a load of c**p.

What's the deal?

  1. Because a bunch of little kids ask the questions on here for

the most part. The ninja 250 is good bike but it is not the only one and a lot of those people bought it yesterday and have proclaimed them selves experts. Some people like to pick on others and some like to be picked on.

  2. The 2008 Ninja 250R is a great bike for the inexperienced person just looking to do some inner city commuting and save gas. Anybody over 6 feet and 225 pounds is too big for it. That's a pretty small demographic so it's otherwise useless. It's not a starting bike for anybody interested in a sportbike. It's basically a scooter with cute plastics. The true beginners sport bike is a 600cc.

The scooty nerds have lost it! LOL You bought a 49cc bike for $300  that only goes 30MPH and you want to dump another $300 into it on parts to make it go 50MPH. Running that bike at 50MPH opens up all sorts of mechanical issues that will have you wrenching after every ride and pumping more money into it forever. If you have a need for speed, just buy a machine that has speed as a standard feature!
