Ninja 250 old vs. new?

Question

looking for someone thats owned both new and old, the true differences in them, mainly, speed, which is faster, gas mileage, comfort. i have an 06 and might get an 08 eventually, i def. love this bike, have had it since new and its been great, but jw the true differences before i think any further.

the new one is a little faster but gets a little worse gas milage, but on the other hand it is beautiful instead of bulky and ugly no offense
