Ninja EX500 Seat Help!?

Im having the HARDEST time getting the seat off of my 2008 Ninja EX500. I turned the key to the right and lifted the seat but nothing happens. Its like the bar inside doesn't unclick all the way... I've pulled up, down, back, font everywhich way. And nothing happens. HELP! My wallet is in there!

try turning the key & pushing down on the seat...

the lock bar may have weight on it from to much under the seat....

If something under the seat was holding it up a fraction (like your wallet), the release bar would get stuck on the seat latch and won't unlock.

Press down on the seat and turn the lock.

If whatever is holding the seat up won't cooperate -turn the key and hold it, then slam the seat down with your hand.
