can i play this for the ps3 or is there a prequel that i have to play first to understand the storyline? and can you tell me if this is a good game and if there is any romance in it? but no spoilers at all please!

Nah, this game is the beginning of the story, so, you won't be lost. There's a sequel to this game Ninja Gaiden 2 but it's exclusively for X360.

And no, there ain't any romance in the game but it's d**n brutal.

It's one of my favorite game.

The game is a bit difficult. Believe me, when I started playing...I was so annoyed with the difficulty of the game, I wanted to give the CD back and get another game

Good thing, I didn't. Once you get used to the controls, this game becomes d**n fun.

I have already finished the game on Normal, Hard and Very Hard Mode.
