Nino Schurter and Sarah Koba win the 2011 Racer Bikes Cup–Chur: Cycling News

Scott-Swisspower MTB Racing team’s Nino Schurter showed his tremendous performance and won the 2011 Racer Bike Cup 2011 in Chur on Sunday, June 26.
The 25-year-old, Swiss cyclist maintained his pace and attacked in the last lap, which took a total of 1 hour, 42 minutes and 38 seconds.
Previously, Schuter won the Summer Olympics in 2008 and grabbed the first place in Mountain Bike World Championship in 2009.
Moritz Milatz of BMC Mountainbike Racing was the runner-up with a difference of 17 seconds. Lukas Flückiger of Trek World Racing was in good form, but he grabbed the third spot with a difference of 2 minutes and 21 seconds.
Thomas Litscher of the Felt Öztal X-Bionic team tried his best to take the lead, but was unable to maintain his pace. He grabbed the eighth spot with a difference of 6 minutes and 15 seconds, ahead of Matthias Stirnemann (Thömus Racing Team) and Cedric Ravanel
(GT Skoda Chamonix).
The group of 22 cyclists, including Shlomi Haimy (IFocus MIG Team), Emilien Barben (Zeta cycling club) and Julien Trarieux (GT Skoda Chamonix), were disqualified.
Maxime Urruty took the junior men title with 1 hour, 15 minutes and 1 second, ahead of Andri Frischknecht and Dominic Zumstein.
Sarah Koba of Giant Swiss SR-Suntour won the 2011 Racer Bikes Cup–Chur with a timing of 1 hour, 39 minutes and 19 seconds in women's category.
In the third last lap of the race, the two riders, Koba and Leumann, were in the front of the race, but Koba increased her pace and clinched the victory, while Katrin Leumann of Ghost Factory Racing was the runner-up with 1 minute and 59 seconds.
After winning the race, Koba told the media, "I'm a little surprised that that I won on such a fast course, the dream is the national jersey, and my goal is the podium."
Alexandra Engen (Team Rothaus Poison-Bikes / Hochschwarzwald) was a good cyclist, but she was unable to maintain her pace and took the third spot with a difference of 2 minutes and 28 seconds.
The three cyclists Rebecca Henderson (Aus), Kathrin Stirnemann (Swi) and Lorraine Truong (Swi) were disqualified.
Previously, Koba took the Rang Weltcup Champery (CH) and he also grabbed the Rang Weltcup Windham (USA) in 2010.
Johanna Techt (Ghost Factory Racing Team) took the junior women title with a timing of 1 hour, 10 minutes and 36 seconds. Andrea Waldis was the runner-up with a difference of 7 minutes and 35 seconds, while Ramona Forchini finished third.
