Question:

Nintendo DS Connection/Firewall Problems

My Router is D-Link DI-524. I've recently bought a Nintendo DS lite, and I'm struggling to connect so that I can go on-line because I keep getting this error code "52100" "You connected to an access point but were unable ot connect to Nintendo WFC". So I've been on the Nintendo Wi-Fi site and they say my firewall is blocking it. I use Avira AntiVir and was wondering if anybody knows how I add it to the allow/safe list step-by-step. I switched off my firewall from start, control panel, firewall etc but it still didn't connect. Any help please? :(

  1. It would be a firewall either inside your router, modem, or someone in the internet provider's network. Your modem likely is not the reason, so it is likely either the one in your router, or your ISP's firewall. Likely it is your firewall NAT, SPI features in your router.
