Nintendo DS flash card important question???

i got a few questions. firstly why did they make so many types of flash cards but they all pretty much functions the same, like they all can play movies, music, game roms and view images. Despite the price and size of memory in the flash cards which one is the best? and why?

2) ask nintendo about the flash card.

3)i'd say get a USB Flash Drive. i have 3 and they always help me. i got 2 1gigs (tho one says its 512mb) and 1 256mb.
