Nintendo DS - is it really worth it?

Question

I want a nintendo ds lite for my birthday but can you tell me if it is worth it? What price should i expect to pay if i live in Victoria, Australia? What are some good things about the DS? Can you access the internet with a wireless router? thanx 10 points to best answer!

Yes, because you can get games for free using an "r4". Buy one and get free games 4ever. Beware, as this is somewhat illegal, so if u plan 2 get 1, then use it privately, no selling or else your in big trouble if caught.

If u dont want to take a risk then buy the games, but some games really stink while others are better than most playstaion 2 games.

Get a wi-fi connector 4 some serious on-line fun that lasts 4 months.

id say its worth it cos yu got a great range of games on the ds and most are played using the touch screen. You can access the net with a wireless router/access point if yu buy the DS Lite Browser game which you can get in any store that sells ds games for around $60. The overall cost of a DS normally costs about $199 and lower and they normally are bundled with a game.

I dont think you should,

1. the screen is small

2. the games are expensive, even on amazon.com

3. most cheats dont work

TRUST ME i have one and it is good if you have mario kart but i dont think you should get one, if you are getting a nintendo make, get a wii theyre really good as you can get nintendo gamecube games for it that are way cheaper, ( but you have to have the controller aswell to play them)

it really depends wat games u like. personaly i think its a great portable console so ill say its definetly worth it. hope this helps
