Nintendo Wii? EASY 10PTS?

Is Nintendo wii even any good? I mean compared to xbox 360 or PS3. What does it have that those other two systems don't have? Be specific please. 10pts for the best answer!!!

Wireless controllers for one. You can also burn calories with wii sports so you can--in a way--work out while having fun.

The Wii is the best and it's a really great console. The Wii is a lot of fun, and it has some of the best games. There are also alot of features that come with it. Alot of my friends and relatives have a great time playing the Wii. My parents even enjoy playing Wii Sports. Trust me the Wii is a very good investment.

There are many things to do on the Wii such as:

-Play Wii and GameCube games (You would need a GameCube controller and memory card to play GC games).

-Create your own Mii's which are cartoon people.

-Buy and Play Virtual Console and WiiWare games from the Wii Shop Channel with Wii points.

-Download a lot of channels such as Everybody Votes Channel and the Nintendo Channel.

-Play Wi-fi enabled games online.

-Upload and view photos from the Photo channel.

-Trade Wii codes with other people to exchange messages with each other.

well ps3 and 360 are both great systems but there games are mostly made to look good like good grafixs and alot of the time gameplay itsent a main factor soo...

And wii has motion sensitivty whats really fun, free online play, the upcomeing games comeing out are gonna be awsome there makeing a wii speak for communication over wifi, its the cheapset system out.

The most obvious thing would be the motion sensing wiimote, which is getting an upgrade in early 2009 along with the game wii sports resort, so the best controller is about to get even better, another thing is original content the wii has a far more varied selection of games compared to the other consoles with titles like wiifit, Big Brain Academy and My Word Coach, as well as having the best first party titles of any console with games like Zelda, Brawl and Mario Galaxy etc, then theres download-able games which thanks to the virtual console the wii has by far the best collection of and wiiware shows promise too.

i have to admit but ps3 has better graffics but the wii its way better couse you can turn the remote or twist and ..... every now and then new games come out with objects like guitars mics. wii fit bourd. and if you have the internet you have a tone of stuff 2 do

The Wii may not have the best graphics in the world, but some of the greatest experiences that I have had with a game system. Just playing Wii Sports (included with Wii) is awesome. The system is also a lot less than that of the others. Also some sound effects will come out of the Wii remote itself. Wii also has a lot of the capabilities of the Xbox 360 and PS3, such as download able games. PS3 may have tilt sense technology, but Wii takes it to a whole new level.

Yes it is very good. You can actually MOVE your hands. It comes with the Wii Sports game, Boxing, Baseball, Tennis, Bowling, and Golf. You can make Miis, which are people to represent the players, Photo Channel where you can draw on your photos,  use them as puzzles, and change the colors. There is also the Wii shop channel where you can download channels such as Everybody votes channel, Check Mii out channel, and the Internet channel. There is also a Weather and news channel that you start out with.

There are games you can get on the shop channel but you have to buy them. If you want a crazy workout game, I recommend Rayman Raving Rabbids. You get to shoot bunnies with plungers!!:) You can also connect with friends by getting thier wii numbers if they have one, and if they bring there controllers to your place, they can play to!

graphic wise, ps3 is the best.

but the wii is SOOO much more fun!!

the wireless sensor motions and plus nintendo has all the badass characters like link, mario, samus and alot more. They will never be switched to another company as of sony and microsoft.

I think the ps3 and xbox 360 are more for hardcore gamers. The wii is super fun.

I think the wii is amazing every game is a new experience. You can play sports drive cars shoot people etc etc. With the wii you can buy the zapper which is a gun for the shooting games. You can also buy driving wheels for mario kart. There are many attachments.

BUT

the wii games are pretty expensive most good ones around 50 bucks and some others around 40.

The ps3 comes with blue ray which is amazing quality. It also has a big variety of games. But the controls are mainly the same every time. unlike the wii

xbox 360 is for hardcore games. Most men own xbox 360's because they are intense. Not too much variety in games. Most are war and some driving.

The thing that the Wii has that the Xbox 360 and PS3 don't have is a unique gaming experience.  The motion sensing nunchuck and wiimote are used to control the games instead of only pressing buttons and wiggiling thumbsticks.  Some games make use of these innovative controllers better than others but the overall effect of using arm movements instead of only hitting buttons is pretty cool.

Granted, the Wii doesn't have the graphics capabilities of the Xbox 360 nor the PS3, but if it did have graphics that good AND the motion sensing controls, it would cost more than a computer and hardly anyone would buy it.  

The key to getting the most out of the Wii is to only get the games where the designers don't exceed the graphics capabilities of the system.  Many of the games are done using graphics that actually look good on the Wii because they have lower polygon counts and/or look 2-D but are in a 3-D space.  

Two of the best Wii games I've played are Blazing Angels and Marble Madness. They look great on the Wii and the controlers work well with the games.  If The Force Unleashed is as good for the Wii as the magazine articles say it is, that'll be another good reason to get one.  A Wii game where you wield a lightsaber like a lightsaber should be would be really cool.
