It seems Nintendo is set to take advantage of going HD with its next-gen platform by bringing a number of well known titles to its launch party.
The internet is filled with information, most of which is utterly useless, yet there is a pocket of infinite knowledge that can really enrich one’s intellect. This particular story has nothing to do with that pocket, but rather is here to shed some light
on a recent report that claims to have the list of Nintendo’s launch line-up for the Nintendo Wii U.
If one looks at the specifications of the Wii U then they will have a better understanding of how the console will be on par, if not just a little better in terms of visuals, than the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
However, rather than considering it a problem, Nintendo seem to be making full use of that fact by signing on a number of studios to release titles that have already been released on the current generation of consoles.
That may seem similar to repacking the same product but instead the Wii U is set to allow players to play the games with a new intuitive control scheme that offers something fresh and new....hopefully, otherwise it will just be a repack.
On the list were a number of titles that gamers are already familiar with as Rocksteady’s Batman: Arkham City, Codemasters’ Dirt 3 and Metro Last Light. However, there are also a number of titles that will be releasing on the Wii U around the same time as
their actual release dates on other consoles.
Ghost Recon Online, Splinter Cell 6, Ninja Gaiden 3 and Assassin’s Creed are just a few of those particular titles.
A Tekken game has also been confirmed by the source as has the upcoming sequel to THQ’s surprise hit, Darksiders II.
No Nintendo launch line up would be complete without a Raving Rabbids game as both Raving Rabbids and Rabbids Party Land are mentioned as well as New Super Mario Brothers Mii.
One can expect Nintendo to clarify which of those titles one can actually expect to see on the console, come release, as E3 is just around the corner.
