Nintendo ds - R4 help?

im getting an R4 soon, i have the original ds (not a lite). is it still possible to use the R4 with the original? Thanks

btw i heard u can download games onto the r4

Yes, the R4 works with the Original DS as well as the DS lite.

yes the R4 does work with the original ds, however it barely gets any support at all so some of the newer games won't work on it.

plus it's just too overpriced now and there are so much more flashcarts that are a lot cheaper and have better support like the acekard 2, edge, icard, etc.
