  1. You can go onto nintendo.com and they have a list of all the routers that work well and don't work well with the nintendo wifi connection. They also have tips and tricks for each individual router so that it will work. However, i've heard that belkin routers don't work too well with nintedo wifi connection. If i were you, i would get a linksys router, that's the one i have and it works really good. It gives me full signal strength clear from one end of the house to the other. It's only a G and i think it only cost like $70. Anyways, whenever i have a problem with my connection, i always push the reset button on the back of my router and that always works without a doubt. Also, make sure that there aren't a ton of other things like laptops or cell phones that are connected to the router because that can cause the internet connection to become very slow when that many things are using it, and most routers don't allow any more than 5 connections at a time.

  2. Ok. First you need to make sure your wii is set to receive internet from the router.

    1. On the Wii console's main menu, click on the 'Wii button' in the lower left corner.

    2. This will take you to the settings screen. On this screen, click on 'Wii Settings'.

    3. In the 'Wii System Settings', click on the blue arrow on the right to reach the second screen of options. On this screen, click the 'Internet' button.

    4. Select 'Connection Settings'.

    5. Select an open connection, indicated by 'None', as shown:

    6. Select 'Wireless Connection'.

    7. Select 'Search for an Access Point'.

    8. At this point, the Wii console will search for any identifiable Access Points nearby. Once this search as completed, you will be direct to choose the Access Point that you wish to connect to, as shown. Click 'OK' to display the list of available Access Points

Good luck with your wii! Email me if you have any problems. Have a good one.
