Nissan skylines? r34?

Question

i was wondering if these cars were m illiegal to use on the streets. i was told that they out lawed these cars and i wondered if they are legal to own in the state of wisconsin

you can get it imported but its tough to get it registered...The R34 doesn't pass US emissions, if you really want a skyline go with a R32 because they are old enough to bypass the emission testing... Motorex used to legally register them but they are closed now

EDIT: or go with one thats already imported and legal

There are some legal r34 models in the US which are street legal but due to false crash data or no data the R33 Spec 2 is the only version allowed for import due to Motorex being able to provide crash test findings.All R34 already in the US where able to stay.

So you maybe best keeping your eye out for one or going for a R33 or an R32 model or even a gt or gtt r34.

you can own any car you want but the r34 is not gonna be the same as it is overseas
