Nite lites are turning wall a blackish color?

I've noticed the nite lites I have in my closets/hallways are turning the walls a blackish tint where the light shines up. Is this something I should worry about, or could cause a fire?

The light is slowly cooking your wall.  After a while (who knows how long?) the chance of fire increases dramatically.
