  1. If your referring to what your default needle settings are then you can refer to your manual but otherwise, you need to find the best setting for your engine, each one is different.  First adjust the high speed needle and the idle (make sure to do this first as the low speed needle is dependent on these).  (1)To adjust the low speed needle accelerate the throttle quickly to WOT (wide open throttle), if the engine dies quickly then the low speed needle is too lean, if it sputters and slowly dies, then it is too rich. (2) You can pinch the fuel line but not to long as the engine will stall.  If the RPMs raise then you are too rich, if the RPMs don't raise much and the engine dies rather quickly then you are too lean. (3) Idle for 10-20 seconds, if the RPM increases then you are too lean, if they slowly decrease then you are too rich.  Try to keep a steady idle for about 20 seconds but remember that your 2-stroke will not idle forever as it will heat up and your crackcase will load up with fuel.

You must also understand that the high speed needle is for the top end  RPM and the low speed needle is for the low end RPM.  So you can simply adjust your low speed needle on what gives you the best launch.

**Make sure to fully warm up the engine and remember that the low speed needle can be VERY sensitive so twist it ever so slightly.

    **Clockwise=leaner  Counter-clockwise=richer
