Does anyone know anything about the Nitto Mud Grappler or any recommendations for a good "off-road" look that does well on pavement?

  1. I run Cooper's 33x12.50 15 tires with an all terraine tread on my '83 GMC. They handle well on the road and in the mud.

I have a rather strong engine and found out that really agressive tread won't slip in mud. If the tires won't slip and the motor won't quit turning, something in the middle has got to give. Everthing in the middle is expensive, so I went with the Coopers to give me a little slip and still pull well.

  2. I use these, and they are great on or off pavement!

A little more aggressive? Here are the reviews for the mud terrain:

I may be biased, but I really think BF Goodrich makes some of the best tires available. Check the reviews at tire rack!

    good luck!
